When kids get to a certain age, it becomes important to have easy kids recipes at your disposal. The children grow more curious as to what mom and dad are doing in the kitchen and start wanting to help with things. As parents we tend to get a little nervous with this. We do not want the child getting hurt, nor do we want a huge mess. That is why we can take our child to the nearest book store or we can look up on line things that are kid safe to make and we can all be happy with the outcome of what was made. In the end your child will be so excited that they were able to make something on their own they will tell every one. And you can be more at ease knowing your child was not going to get hurt in the process and see their smiling faces with what they have made. I will post up some easy children's recipes you and your child can work on together.
Sandwiches are easy. Those don't really need an explanation, but letting them make their own sandwiches for them and you also makes them feel independent and like a big kid. Hoagies, chips and dip, and cheese and crackers are also 'recipes' that require no cutting or cooking, and are more about the presentation but allow your child to make it completely on their own!
