Kids School Uniforms

More recently kids school uniforms have become extremely popular. Not just for private school either but they are coming to public schools as well if they haven't already come in to play. You hear a lot of kids complaining about this issue. In my own personal opinion this it is the children faults that they are going to or already have to wear uniforms.

What Are The Positive Reasons for Kids Wearing Uniforms To School

There are some really good reasons that children should wear uniforms to school. Below is a list of those reasons

1. Less time trying to figure out what to wear to school in the morning.
2. Underprivileged kids will not get picked on if they do not have the clothing that is "in style".
3. You can't really be judged as to what you have on that day.
4. they may result in less different groups or cliques. Like preppy, goth, emo, popular, gangster and so on.
5. Uniforms will help kids focus more on their work rather then who has what kind of new shoe brands or which girl has the new expensive jeans.
6. Less kids will get into fights or gang rivalry because of something that a child has on.

What are the negatives of Kids School Uniforms?

1. Kids now do not have a chance to express their individuality
2. Children and adolescents like to be unique with the way they dress, this is how they define who they are, now they have to be just like every one else
3. Parents now not only have to purchase clothing for after school but now uniforms as well. This can become very expensive.
4. Kids should be able to be kids and not have to dress professionally just to go to school.
5. The skirts for the girls are way to short and in the winter i am sure this is not the most comfortable for the girls to wear.
6. What if girls do not like to wear skirts and things like that. Then they are being forced to put something on that they normally would wear and i do not think that is very fair to them.

What do some of the uniforms look like

<There are many different styles of kids school uniforms to wear. Some of the most basics are polo shirts of white, blues, reds, yellows and browns. The pants they have to wear are khaki in blue, black, light brown or khaki colored. As for the girls they have to wear plaid skirts with a solid polo shirt they are the same colors as the boys, knee socks and either solid color sneakers or dress shoes. These are just a few things that I have seen. There may be other styles of uniforms available but what I have listed are the basics that most schools currently use.
