Cake Ideas For Kids

What ever the occasion may be kids love cake. Especially when they are in a certain design that the child may like a lot. Cakes can be a real work of art to look at. I have seen some cakes that just look way to pretty to eat or they look so much like whatever the person was trying to create that it does not look like it should be eaten, rather put up for a keepsake!

What are some good ideas for cakes for kids

Children tend to love cakes that have a favorite cartoon character on them or something they like to play, even holiday themes such as Easter bunny, Santa, leprechaun and more. Other things they like are animals, superhero's, princesses, a favorite sport, nature scenes like butterfly's, birds, flowers rainbows and so many other things that I could continue to list them forever. If you have the skills to do this yourself this may make a great project for you and the kids to do together, but if you are anything like I am I do not have the skills to do this. I buy mine at a store.

Cakes do not always have to be made into something special at all. Some children prefer just a regular cheesecake or some sort of basic ice cream cake. Either you can make one of these by hand or again go to the store and pick it up for them.

What are some different flavors of cake and icing?

As we all know the basic flavors of cake that kids like are chocolate or vanilla. But there are dozens of other flavors you can use to make your child's cake or have it made for them and same goes for the icing. There are so many different flavors and styles of icing, I do not think a child will ever have a problem finding that certain flavor they love.
