Has your teenager become so out of control that you can no longer deal with them? You are wondering where can i send my out of control teenager? First ask yourself have you tried everything before you consider sending the teen away? It sounds so much easier to just send them somewhere to get help for their actions but wont your really miss them and plus regret what you did by sending them away? It may just be what they need and that is showing tough love. This might be the only option left, because if there is nothing that you can do to get them to listen and respect you how can you live life that way? Sending your child away seems like a real easy solution. But it may not, this may make the child unable to trust you and try to get away from where they have been sent. Below is a list of ideas that possibly will help you through this.

Ways To Help Your Out Of Control Teen

1. Before sending them away see if they might want to take some time away from one another by going to another family members or friends for a week. This will give the both of you time to cool off and rethink your situation
2. Look into different summer boot camp programs. Maybe find the right boot camp that will teach the teen how to behave and learn right from wrong. And most importantly discipline. They just might come back a whole new kid
3. Try talking the problems out with your teenager and see if there may be something that is causing them to act is such ways. The teen may have some issues that no one knows about and does not know how to talk about it or is to embarrassed. See if you can get to the root of it first by talking and your teen may just open up knowing that you always have an open ear for what they have to say and do not be negative if they finally do get things out. Support what they have to say even if you may not like what you hear.
4. Now if talking does not work out then explain to the teen that you have no choice anymore and will not stand for what they are doing. It is not acceptable for this teen to act in such a manner and you now have no choice but to put them in a behavioral facility till they can straighten up. Always remind them that you do love them and you are not doing this because you do not want them around, however you cannot handle what they are doing to the family.
5. You can always try setting up a counseling appointment for the both of you and see if they will also do one on ones with the teen because sometimes it may be easier to talk to a stranger rather then a parent. A stranger does not know you so in turn cannot judge you for things that you have done. The counselor will talk to them about why they are acting out and what is causing them to be like that as well as other issues.
6. Okay so now none of this help is working for either one of you. You do not have a choice to put them away. Find the best place that deals with these kids of behaviors. Do not ever just pick the first place you run in to . This may take a lot of researching but in the end your teen will be a turned around brand new person that respects their elders.

There are just a few places I posted up there. Only because I do not feel as though sending your child away will solve anything. Except giving up on your responsibilities as a parent. The only reason I say this is my parents sent me away as a child and all I could do was hate them for what they did and could not believe even though I was a pain in the rear end that they would go to the extents to send their own daughter away. My thoughts were if they loved me that much they would have tried to work harder with me through what was going on in my life and that was the only way I knew how to get attention. Now I do know it was the wrong attention but at the time it seemed right and I did not know much better. So listen to what your child is trying to say before making hasty decisions
