Stuck home babysitting or do you work babysitting someones child or children? Have you run out of things to do with them to keep them busy and entertained till the parents come home? Well no worries that is why I am going to tell you some popular games to play when babysitting. That can help you keep the kids you are watching entertained and happy for the time you are with them.

Games You Can Play With Kids While Babysitting

1. You may want to ask them if they have any ideas. If they are old enough that they know what they would like to do this is a great idea. If they do not know then make some different suggestions to them. They are bound to say yes to something you have asked them.
2. Hide and seek. If it is a nice day take them into the backyard or if it raining you can play this game inside as well.
3. Ask them to play with their toys and show you how they work and what they do.
4. I spy. explain to them if they do not know how it works that you are supposed to focus on one thing then say something like i spy something blue and the other person guesses things that are blue near them. If they still can not figure what it is then do one more clue and see how that goes.
5. If there are board games pull a few out and ask them which one they want to play. If they do not like or know how to play them you can teach them or try to pick different games they may like.
6. There is always the famous computer games or game systems you can play if the children have them.
7. Arts and crafts. See who can make a certain kind of animal or something then decorate it in to a mask or something
8. Duck,duck goose is always a great game to play.
9. Have a dress up party. Have everyone dress up then set out snacks and drinks and play different rolls like one can be a queen, king, animal, and so on and play their roll out.
10. Let them help you make meals. You can pretend you are all chefs and let them help you with different things in the kitchen.
11. Put music on and have a dance contest or just sing and dance around the house. If they have instruments let them use them or get pots and pans along with utensils to bang them with.

These are just a few popular games you can play while babysitting. The one thing to always remember is try and keep them entertained. The more bored they get the more cranky they will be then you all will have a miserable day. You always want to play with them and do not ever leave them alone. They may get hurt or worse walk out the door. Children love to do things and most of the time depending on the age it really does not matter if you make something up or find a game they already have they will have fun doing whatever.
