Best Educational Kids Shows

If you have an early riser as I do then you know just about all the television shows and cartoons that are on and what is best for the kids to watch. You may think oh no not these cartoons again, but sit and watch them with the kids and you will see that not all of them are boring and useless. A great deal of them teach young kids a lot of information. Especially if you get involved as well with them. I will post up a list of some of the best educational kids shows that are great at helping developing minds.

Educational Television Shows For Kids

1. Word World. This cartoon is great because everything that comes on the screen is spelled out. Like the body of a duck will spell duck out and they go over a lot of great things for children to learn.


2. The Backyardagans teaches children to use their imagination. There are five characters in this show that use their imaginations to change their backyard into a big adventure for them to go exploring, fight monsters and anything else they can imagine. They sing and dance and are very brightly colored.
3. Micky Mouse Clubhouse teaches all kinds of very useful lessons for children. Such as shapes, colors, numbers, letters, singing, dancing and how to work together as a team to get things done. It also teaches kids how to use different objects.
4. Super Why is 4 great friends whom all contain a special power such as super pig who has the power to do the alphabet, wonder red who obtains the power to use words, princess presto which has the power to spell and super why he has the powers to read things. These four do activities in fairy tail to solve different events that occur every day. This show asks kids to get involved when the super why team does a mission and will ask what letters are up and so on.
5. Team Umizoomi is a 3d animated show. They all have powers. There is Mili, Geo and Bot. They do math to solve things. These guys make doing math and numbers fun for all ages. A lot of kids like Bot because of his belly screen!


6. Between the lions. There is a mom and dad lion as well as two children that have a library of books. They make it a point in this show to tell children and show them how important and fun it is to read and learn different things. They can also use their imaginations to pretend that they are actually inside the story book. To watch letters come alive and sing as well as dance is a fun thing for kids to see and be a part of.
7. Handy Manny is a great show for kids. It teaches them how to help others and share. There are talking tools that sing and dance as well as fix things that have broken. They sing and say things in Spanish and English so it is teaching kids to speak in different languages at a very early age.
8. Sesame street. Now this is a given to be on the list. This show has been around for a very long time now. This has all the education you can possibly want all in one show for kids. They do alphabet, numbers, counting, singing , dancing, teach sharing, eating good foods and so much more. This has just about everything you could want for your child to learn all rolled into one show!


9. The Little Einsteins also has a lot of educational things for children of all ages to enjoy. They use their imaginations to go on different missions. There is singing dancing lots of colors. Their missions are based on real life events and places.
10. Imagination Movers are four guys that have a band and hang in their warehouse. They make new music and solve different problems that occur. They put their heads together to come up with solutions and test them out together. There is even a small warehouse mouse that lives in there with them. This show teaches kids to think about things before they just go and do. It also has great music and keeps kids laughing.

These are just a few of the many other shows that are great for kids minds to grow and keep learning so before you think that this is a useless program for my child sit with them and see that it is really not and to them it is just fun. But in reality it is learning as well as fun. Children do pick up a good deal of positive things off these programs.
