Breakfast is the most important meal of the day to anyone especially children. They have to get up and go to school in the morning. If they do not eat something they tend to lag the rest of the day, have that tired and no energy feeling. Think about it after a child has eaten dinner and gone to bed by the time they get up in the morning it has been roughly 10 hours or more since they have gotten something in their systems. So now all the food from dinner is digesting and blood sugar may be low. They may be groggy and their brain function will be off. Some kids sleep late and do not have time to eat something before they leave for school. This is why it is good to have them keep a snack in their book bags that is healthy and you know will give them the safe and healthy energy to get through the day. I am going to give you some healthy breakfast ideas for kids, they will thank you when at the end of the day they do not feel like they have just ran 5 miles due to lack of food.
