Breakfast is an essential meal of the day. This is what gets us all up and motivated for the day. Have you ever wondered why you are dragging by time it is 11am? This is because you do not have anything in your system to give you the energy you need to focus, stay awake and alert. This list below will tell you the benefits of eating breakfast.

Think about it our body has not had any food in our systems since the previous night. When we went to bed where that food was burned off during the night. By morning we are tired and have no energy this is because our body needs that food to liven us up again. If we do not eat then how is this supposed to happen? By the time you get to work or wherever you have to be you just do not feel like doing anything. This is because there is nothing in us to get us up and going for the day.

The Benefits Of Eating A Healthy Breakfast

  1. If you eat you have a better chance of having a better span of attention and can focus without being tired. Weather its home, work, school or doing whatever you have to do for the day.
  2. You will keep a good and healthy weight on you. If you do not eat breakfast,you are more likely to snack on things that are not the healthiest for you to consume through out the day. Then since you are doing that you are supporting bad eating habits and that is where the weight will start to come on.
  3. If you have kids you need to be a good role model for them. If they see that you are either snacking on a cookie or something bad then they will think that they as well do not have to eat breakfast and will repeat what you are doing. Then not only are you showing poor habits, but now teaching them to your child as well.
  4. You need the nutrients, vitamins and minerals in the morning to get you going. Without that you won't be able to focus and may be very groggy throughout the day.
  5. This can change the mood swings you may be having, due to a poor diet. If you do not have food in your system you moods can change fast and become crabby and miserable.
  6. Having breakfast will make you learn more and stay focused. If you do not have anything in your stomach you will not be able to focus because lack of energy and you may become fatigued.
