Do not splash them with water; the best way is to lightly spray them down. They do not like mulch. This type of flower needs air circulation all around the stem area. They should be ready in 25 to 30 days after planting them and last up to 2 to 3 weeks.

Freesia - You should soak the seeds in warm water for 1 day before you plant them. You will want to find a place for them that the soil will drain well. Plant them 2 inches deep and 3 inches apart from one another. You will want to water them after you have planted them. They will start to sprout in autumn. When winter comes they will have taller growth to them. And they should be ready to have flowers by spring time.
