In my own opinion I would place a garden in places than not only can I see from inside but also in places other people may notice it as well. A garden is not meant to hide away and go unnoticed. Also determine whether you have plants that require sun, shade or a little of both. Check the area you have chosen to see if there is poor quality dirt or large roots from nearby trees or flowers. If there is you may want to pick a different spot because a lot of big roots will strangle the smaller plants' roots or they may drink up all of the water you spray for them. Other large roots in the area will even soak up all the fertilizers that have been placed in the ground for your garden. You may want to have your soil checked before you make a flower bed in the spot you have chosen for your outside garden. The reason I suggest this is because your soil may not have enough minerals and nutrients in it to keep the plants alive, if that is the case you can find out what your soil needs and get it or just pick a different spot to plant your garden outside.

5 Spots to Plant Gardens Outside

  1. Along the front of the house
  2. In the middle of your yard
  3. By or around your mail box. This is a great spot for people to notice and look at it
  4. On the side of your house
  5. Along the edge of your grass. Make a garden path going down the sides of your grass. That is a sure way to have people looking. And spice up your yard better.

Why Are These Garden Spots Best?

These spots are good spots to have a garden because they get the most sun and are looked at by people. Also if you have children, they can help take care of the gardens with you by pulling weeds, watering and keeping other trash out of the garden. This is a project you all can do as a family and enjoy the beautiful weather together. Another reason these are good spots to put a garden is that if you want to sit by your gardens and relax they are all in open spots so you can relax and admire your beautiful creations. So in conclusion plan out where you are going to make your garden before you just go jumping head first into planting.
