Eggs Are A Great Source Of Protein For Seniors.As people get older they tend to lose a lot of the vitamins, minerals and nutrients they have need. This is why eating healthy is very important. You will need to know what foods to eat to gain back what you have lost with age. Not only does aging take away from your body but from getting older people can not work out the way they use to and sometime may not be able to eat things they did because either they have false teeth that hurt to chew things or their body can no longer handle a certain type of food.

Because protein is one of the first things that will go as people get older they may need some kind of protein enriched diet or supplements to gain some of it back. A good protein diet has a thermogenic or fat burning effect.That is if the protein supplement has whey in it this will inhibit cholesterol absorption in the belly, which in turn keeps from getting obese and stops cardiac arrest. Now if the protein vitamins have casein in it this will form a clot in the belly, slowing down intestinal motility. This then gives the stomach a chance to absorb all the amino acids from their meal.

Also a big thing is taking good care of the body you have, because it is the only one you get and will ever own so on that note treasure what you have it is only going to be around as long as you allow.
