Popular Restaurants With Senior Discounts

There are many different restaurants and fast food places that offer senior discounts on food and drinks. They also offer other things to seniors as well sometimes such as a free cup of coffee, a 2 for 1 deal, there may even be a specific menu for seniors that also takes a percent off the bill when they are finished eating. The only thing with that is you have to ask if there is some kind of senior discount because most of the time it is not advertised or even mentioned.

I think it should be advertised or offered when the customer comes in. This way the person that is taking the order does not mention it to some one that may not be a senior or not mention it and the person is a senior and now does not get their discount because they were not asked. Now you have offended a customer and embarrassed yourself. I know that I would never want to make some one feel like that.

What Age Do Restaurants Give Senior Discounts?

This depends on how the restaurant goes about it and what they determine to be the proper age for senior discount. Although roughly the reasonable age I think should be fit for the discount is from 55 and up. Some places even will ask for some kind of proof, showing that a person is a senior. I do not think I would go to those extents, for the most part I think you and I can both tell the difference between a senior and someone that is not. When I worked at a restaurant that offered a senior discount I would either just give it to the people I thought fit suitable and most of the time I would have people ask if we offer it. I would tell them that I had already taken it off for them. Below I will post a list of popular restaurants with senior discounts or something of that nature to senior citizens.

Is There A Certain Amount Of Money You Have To Spend Before You Get The Discount?

The answer to that is absolutely not. The customer does not have to spend a certain limit to receive their senior discount. They can just come in to get a coffee and they will either be given it or they can ask for the senior discount for that alone. I think that is the way it should be anywhere you go. Seniors have paid their dues all through out growing up. They deserve something back and I do not feel it would be right to make them spend a certain amount of cash before they are able to get a discount.
