  1. Vitamin D - This is the best vitamin for your health. When you go outside the sun fortifies this in your body. But as people get older they will go outside less causing your vitamin levels to drop. Which can lead to Osteoporosis. Calcium has vitamin D so things like milk, cheese, yogurt and so on are things you will want to eat. Or take vitamin D pills will help to.
  2. Vitamin K - If you do not get enough vitamin K it is said that it can be a factor in people that get Alzheimer disease. This also helps the blood clot right. It is very important that older people do take a vitamin K pill or supplement every day.
  3. Antioxidants - They are more prone to diseases, and it is caused by free radical cells in the body. Antioxidants will bond to free radical cells and make them harmless to the elderly. So if you are not eating the right fruits or vegetables to get this then a supplement will do the trick.

If you can not chew or swallow pills right there are other things you can try like boost drinks, or other supplements that have all the extra vitamins, and nutrients you will need to get by.

These were just a few different things you can try to take to make your health stay at where it is and ensure does not decrease from this point forward. Vitamins are a very important thing in everyone's life and eating habits. If you do not get the proper things you need then this may have horrid repercussions.
