Our bodies are made up of many different things and if we are missing something our body will let us know in one way or another. Weather it is us getting sick, difference in actions, mood swings, fatigue, or even depression. If you are not getting enough of a certain vitamin you may want to do some research to find out what you may need to get you back on track. Taking vitamins every day is good for us anyway, so what have you got to loose by going to get them if they could make you right again.There are vitamins that help fight depression. I know living with depression is not a fun thing. It makes people do and act in ways they normally would never act. Depression is where a person feels sad, hopeless, or like they are not worth anything. That feeling is a horrible thing to have to feel every day so if there is a vitamin you can take that will help get those feelings to go away then I would by all means try to find it and start right away. You are just one step closer to having your regular and happy life back. Below is a list of vitamins you can take that will help fight depression.

Depression Fighting Vitamins

  1. Many of the B type vitamins will help with depression such as vitamin B1. This is good for the bodies glucose levels. It turns it into usable forms of energy for the brain. If you do not have glucose or thiamine the brain will not have the proper amount of energy needed to function correctly. Vitamin B5 which is pantothenic acid deals with cellular metabolism. Lacking this can cause fatigue and depression. Vitamin B6 also known as pyridoxine. This is needed to liberate glucose from amino acids. B6 gets the brain going. Pyridoxine helps with the hormones in the brain to keep them regulated the right way. This all will make the brain act differently without the proper amount in it. Vitamin B12 or cobalamin this is a vitamin that works for the central nervous system. It makes something called myelin, which is the protection coat that surround neurons. If there is deficiency in this for to long it can cause depression, memory loss, and Alzheimer disease.
  2. Vitamin D works much like a hormone. This is good for your bones and to keep your moods regulated. Without the proper amount of this it will cause depression.
  3. Iron-people with iron deficiency tend to be depressed. Iron is good for the blood and without the proper amount in your body this can cause change in mood and actions. Try iron pills or vitamins rich in iron.
  4. Magnesium. If you have low magnesium this may cause physiological changes such as depression.

The vitamins that I have just named are very important for the body to be able to function right. If you are lacking any of these you may want to try and find vitamins that are rich in these components to help you fight off depression and have a happy day.
