And truthfully as I have researched this topic in the past I have found that this seems to be the general consensus. Eating healthy and exercising is the key to staying fit and healthy, especially in teenagers. Young adults have higher and faster metabolisms than people that are older in age. So as we get older, yes it is a good idea to start taking vitamins, but it really is not necessary for teens to do the same. Again the only way I would say to take them is if there are health issues that prevent you from getting the vitamins you need while simply eating healthy.

But if you are insistent that you want to take them anyhow I will post up a list of the best vitamins for a teenage girl. These are just a few vitamins teenage girls can take. But again I strongly disagree that teens need to take a multivitamin at all, let alone any kind of vitamins. If you are that concerned with your health and maintaining a good and strong body then simply eat properly, exercise, get adequate rest, and do not veg out to video games or television all day. If you are not already involved, get involved with a school sport or and after school program, cut back on snacks and fast foods, start a dance class or gymnastics. I can go on and on about things you can do to stay healthy without the use of pills. Like I said I would only agree with this if your health was at risk or other health concerns. I have to give my 2 young boys vitamins, but that is only because they are very picky with eating and are kind of on the skinny side. Be a healthy and active teenage girl and stop worrying about taking vitamins. Do what I have suggested and you will stay in great health and in great physical shape.
