Well it is the truth, but many children and adults still do not follow it and fight to eat them. A lot of times this is because a great deal of individuals do not know how vitamins help your body. If you do not have the right amount of vitamins, minerals and nutrients, then you may be tired, in pain, moody, sick a lot and so many other things that you do not want to be. Your body may even start shutting down if you do not have the proper vitamins in your system.

There are something called essential vitamins and these are ones that you have to get from things you consume. That is due to the fact that your body can not produce certain ones. Some of the vitamins we can not produce on our own are B, A, C, D, E along with K. Every one of these play a very important roll in our bodies. We must find them somehow and make use to keep a strong and healthy body.

Different Vitamins And What They Do

  1. All of the B vitamins. These focus on the nervous system. This works on blood cells, and metabolism. This vitamins job is to make phosphorus and and sodium and the right levels in the body
  2. Vitamin A. This vitamin is a shield to the and takes care of the eyes, nose, throat, and lungs. It fixes the tissues in the body so you do not get night blindness.
  3. Vitamin C. This vitamin is amazing for keeping you from infection, sickness and weak immune system. It also makes your blood vessels very strong, so you can heal faster from a fracture or broken bone.
  4. Vitamin K. Vitamin K helps with blood clots, it does thin the blood so be careful just how much you take in. You can find this in either vitamin or leafy green vegetables.
  5. Vitamin D. This is what the sun takes for you the more you are out in it. And may cause the skin to become rubber like over time and do some extensive damage as well.

This is why it is important to have the proper vitamins and amounts in your body. You do not want to feel like you are 80 when you are only 30. If you take good care of your body I am sure it will be around and healthy for years to come. Another thing that is very important is that you can not just take vitamins and not eat food as well. You can become very ill and malnutritioned that way. So if you are going to diet or need vitamins try to pick foods that go along with your vitamin intake.
