Are you a new parent or just very protective of your child's health. Are you asking yourself or others, do children need multivitamins in their diet? The answer to this question is it depends on certain things weather your child needs to take them. I personally give my 2 and 3 year old vitamins every morning just to know they have all the proper vitamins and nutrients they need. They tend to be picky eaters and will go a whole day without eating. so I know those vitamins will replace what they lack through choosing not to eat all the delicious fruits and veggies they are offered.
It is said that for the most part children are not require to take vitamins daily as said by the American Academy or Pediatrics. Although it is obvious if you have a child that refuses to eat vegetables, meat, fruit or grains they do need something in place of missing essential vitamins found in these certain foods. So if you have a healthy and happy child that does not have a problem eating any of these foods then they do not need vitamins quite yet. On the other hand if you feel as though your child should have them I will post a short list of different multivitamins that you can give your kids.
