Trying to grow your hair in long? I know this is a tedious task for me, because every time it gets to a certain length I wined up chopping it off. It either becomes very dry and frizzy or just looks a mess. Besides what man does not like a woman who has long, beautiful, shiny hair? You can do so many different styles with long hair, there are endless options. It is just the matter of having the patients to let it grow in and keep it maintained, looking its best. Well here are some tips that may help you with the struggle of growing your hair long and keeping it looking beautiful.

• The first thing you want to do is go get a hair cut. Have them cut your hair all one length. This will help the hair growth process, plus hair grows faster and better once all of the dead ends have been taken off.

• Do not use heat methods such as blowdryers, straighteners, curlers and cripmers. Heat will cause hair to break and become damaged.
• You do not want to use tight hair bands, rubber bands, small braids, metal clips, or anything else that will pull and strain or even pinch the hair it will cause breakage or splitting.
• Perms,color treatments or any other harmful chemicals may damage the hair. So avoid doing these to your hair.
• Bleaches, chlorine, salt water and the sun are all bad ideas if you are looking to have long, flowing and beautiful hair. All of these things will break, dry, bleach and damage the hair.
• If you are going to go into the sun then you have to find a conditioner that has a high amount of SPF in it. Also wearing a loose fitting hat will help keep it covered from those damaging sun rays.
• Take multivitamins that includes calcium and vitamin E. They are both good for your hair.
• Drink a lot of water. This is not just good for you but it is good for your hair. Water helps keep it hydrated.
• Eating healthy will also help to maintain nice and shiny hair. Things that have a deal of good fats in them such as avocado or olive oils are great for the hairs growth.
• When it is time to wash your hair do not knot it up when you are cleaning it. Try to get just the roots. The ends only need to be cleaned maybe once a week but really get those roots good.
• Get a good deep conditioner and make sure you focus on all of the hair especially the ends of it. If this is possible try to leave the conditioner on your hair for at least an hour or a little longer. Let it soak in the hair good. To dry your hair the best way to go is to air dry it. And try not to scrub the hair dry if you can just wrap it in a towel and blot it.
