Cutting Your Hair At Home

• The very first thing you want to do is get all of the things you will need together on one table so all you have to do is reach over and grab as you need. Things you will need to cut your hair are hair cutting scissors, a comb, hair brush, hair clips, spray bottle of water, mirror, hair buzzers, and any other product you may need to style it in the end.
• Then you can pick out what you are going to want to do to your hair. If it is your first time doing this try to do yourself a favor and keep it a simple cut. You may get overwhelmed with something more complex, then cut it a bad way.
• You will want to wash your hair to get out dirt, oils and anything else that might be in your hair. Try to get a good conditioner too. The softer your hair is the easier it is to work with. Make sure to have that spray bottle filled with water as well in case your hair starts to dry as you are cutting.
• Now it is time to start cutting that hair of yours. You will want to take your hair in to sections. Take the hair clips to hold the hair you are not cutting yet back.
• Take the piece you plan to cut and comb it as strait as you can then hold it in between your fore finger and middle one. Slide the fingers towards the end of that clump of hair.
• Now make sure when you slide the fingers down you have your fingers at just the right amount that you wish to cut. Take the scissors and cut just right below the fingers in a very straight line. Now comb that strand to make sure it is very straight.
• Move on to the next clump you have separated. Put the piece you have cut in to a separate clip of its own. You may want to let down all of the pieces you have cut here and there to see if it is all evenly done. You can even take a piece of hair from both sides of the head and bring them together if they match up you have cut it right if not you may have to do some more cutting on either end to even it out.
• After you have done this to the entire head let it all down and take the hand mirrors and inspect the back real well and you can look into the big mirror to see if all the hair in the front is that same way. Now you are ready to shower off all the excess cut hair and style it as you wish.
