Most often people choose not to take the train when traveling because of the time. You spend more time on a train then you do by plane but driving takes so much longer. What are the advantages of traveling by train? In a list below I am going to tell you what some advantages of traveling by train are.

• This is a safer way to travel. Going by plane or driving can be a bit more dangerous. For some it can even be very scary.
• Traveling by train can be a lot more comfortable as well. In a plane you have a small and squished seat to sit in. While trains you have a comfortable seat and can stretch out if no one is sitting near you. Another plus is on a plane you are not permitted to speak on cell phones. While on a train they do not really care if you do so. Talk about the leg room you will have as well.
• The views on a train are so much better then on a plane. All you can see when you are on a plane is lots of clouds. Now on a train you can see everything from the beautiful trees to different areas that you may have never experienced.
• Cost efficient. Going by train you are sure to spend a good deal less then by plane or car.
• There is no waiting to board
• No assigned seating you cseat anywhere you rheart desires.
• There is no baggage check in. You are not handing your baggage to someone and have the chances of losing it or getting left on the plane. On the train all you have to do is take it on with you or throw it in the undercarriage deck below the train.
• Less of an air pollutant. It is said that a train will use up to 70% less energy and up to 85% less air pollution.

There you have it. I think if and when I ever get to travel I would prefer to take a train even though I would get to my destination a bit later then if i was to take a plane but I am willing to sacrifice some time for my comfort and enjoyment.
